Puhoi River Kayak Cruise!

So a few weeks ago my family and I did a kayaking cruise down the puhoi river.  We started from Puhoi  township and kayaked all the way to Wenderholm.  This was really, really fun! Although my arms and abs were definitely feeling it the next day.  For anyone in the Northern Auckland area (New Zealand) should definitely give it a go.

Anyway I thought I would share some of the photos we took!

Hello everyone! This week I'm blogging about my favourite hair care products! These are all products I have used for a long time and have trialled and stuck with for the last few years.  My mothers a hair dresser so they are more high end products sold in the salon more than the supermarket shelves.  These products are all items my mother uses regularly on her customers of many different hair types.   Some important notes to take in before we roll on with this blog post is that I wash my hair every second evening.  I also have very long curly hair which is quite natural in colour with only a small amount of highlights.  My hair is also quite knotty and these are just products I have found that work with my hair and these may not be ideal for others with hair different to mine.  The first items I use on a regular basis are my Biolage colour last shampoo and conditioner.  I have quite knotty long hair and the conditioner is great at getting those pesky b...

Europe Trip Diary Entry #5 4th April, 2016

Hello everyone! How are we all? I hope you had a fantastic Easter.   I understand Easter was over a week ago but I thought I would recall my Easter for those of you who care.  I began my Easter morning in one of the most beautiful churches I've ever been in.  Being in church on that Sunday morning brought a very melancholy feeling upon me.  I sat in church all alone when I am used to spending every Easter in church with my family at home.  Being in church made me miss my family more than ever however I realised that although I didn't understand the language (it was a French mass) nor did I know anyone I felt welcome there.  I felt like we were all a family of people , accepting of each other despite us being a large variety of cultures and language we were all there together for the same reason.  It felt very homely and made my Easter away from home a lot easier. Iguazu Falls! South America Trip Day Five 😄

We disembarked the luxary bus and collected our luggage. We were dropped off on the argentinian side of the falls near the border of Brazil. We then crossed the border in a van and headed straight to the Brazilian side of the falls. We had a quick munch on some overpriced fast food near the falls then set off on a hike around the falls. I was blown away by the beauty of it all. We did a brief walk, approximately 3km or so. This took us along the side of the falls and underneath the mouth of one section. We got pretty wet so I was definately pleased I was appropriately dressed in wet weather gear. After we completed the walk and took about a million photos we headed back to the shuttle bus to make our way to the hotel. Some of us visited a bird park on the way home where we saw a variety of exotic birds.  The hotel was a little far from glamorous to put it politely.
